Horse goes out and does two Prelim tests
Horse comes home with 10 points from said outing

Has horse qualified to enter two Area Festivals?

Asking for a friend ;)

Depends how the points were split!

....For this summer only points needed are halved, so need minimum 4 points for bronze, and minimum 5 points for silver....
BUT.... at least one point (for each area festival qualification) must be from a qualifying test (they have a Q after them in schedule).

As most venues tend to run one Q test and one non-Q test...then sadly the answer is no....you can’t use “spare” points from a Q test towards another total.

Hope that makes sense!

Friend read rules
Friend was looking for confirmation
Friend thought qualification would be more difficult/require more effort
Friend hopes you have a nice day ?

Provided each of the tests scored at least four points (assuming rider is bronze) then sounds like 'yes'. If say one test was 3 points and the other test was 7 points then no this won't be two qualifications.

I think you’re confusing Areas and Regionals. There’s no minimum points / percentage score per test for Areas ?

There are points requirements for Pet Plans. For this summer qualification they are half the number of points you usually need. You can’t split points though so say you only needed another two points to get a qualification and you get four points for the test you can’t carry the extra two points over to a new qualification.
