Is anyone doing the area festival at Wellington riding centre? I wasn't able to to my local one at patchetts as I was doing XC that weekend so have entered for this one which is a bit further from me. I'm doing the novice on thursday 7th Sept.

Oh how exciting! I'm restricted, you? I'm planning on moving up to elementary but have been holding off until after the area festival so I can stay restricted.

lovely, test will either be indoors (massive international sized arena) or outdoors on what they call the 'AI' arena. Which has tiered seating all round. There will be clothes/tack stalls aswell, its all very exciting, i had a great time last year!!

I did my stage 1,2,3 & my PTT there and i brought Bloss from there too. She used to be a riding school horse there. They love seeing her when i go back to compete there as shes changed so much!

Very exciting! I think Louis' eyes will be on stalks though! Not sure how settled he will be and our chances of doing well! I'm really looking forward to it! If anything it's a fun day out!

I tend not to ride through my tests until the day before as otherwise I concentrate too much on it and get nervous/confused! I just practise little bits of it here and there and string it all together the day before. I'll prob get it all wrong on the day though! I find I stress so much the week before and am always amazed how it seems to just fit into place on the day...I HOPE!
