BD Prelim registration

Instructor has advised me to register my horse's name with BD as a free prelim registration. Does anyone know if it can be done on-line - I can't find anything on their site but I could be a bit blind!

You don't need to register to do prelim [I don't think] but I think you have to register before doing finals or areas. Think you may need to be registered yourself but give them a ring on Monday or look in the rule part, that might help.

No I don't mean to register to do prelim - I just enter the open section. She suggested registering prelim - this registers the horses name so nobody else can use it - if I want to go affiliated properly later he might only be Bomber the 10th instead of Bomber the 52nd for example

Apparently people usually do it for their foals at birth.
