BD question - help please

In November I became a winter only BD member and registered my horse as an associate so that I could do some prelim qualifiers.

I'm now confused with the new rules.

I think I need to get my horse full membership to qualify now and that I should be silver if I want to aim for regionals as opposed to bronze to aim for area festivals. Is that right?

And my last competition result doesn't show on the database. Is that because my horse's associate registration is no good under the new rules (the one before Christmas does show)?

Can't help with the membership query but re: section, then yes you need to enter silver or gold if you want to qualify for regionals (bronze is AF only).

When was your last competition? BD can be very slow to process results (also depends on how quickly the venue submitted their results too). It might be that they just haven't processed your shows results yet. You can do a search for a show's results - why not do that to see if any results are showing for hat competition? If they are, drop BD an email or give them a ring. If they are not, I'm afraid you might need to be patient and wait till they're uploaded.
 
The only regionals available at prelim level are silver I believe.
I'm pretty sure you need to be a full member to enter silver sections to qualify for regionals (rightly so IMO)
On free associate membership you can compete gold, and presumably bronze too.
Best to call BD to double check.
 
You definitely need to be a full member (horse and rider) to compete silver.

I had to upgrade my horse to full membership after our first competition as BD emailed me and said I was in the wrong section - they moved me to bronze as my horse was associate only. Thankfully they moved us back to silver once I'd paid for membership, they were regional qualifying scores so I'd have been a bit annoyed otherwise ;-)
 
Oh and it looks like no results have been put up since 17th January. I did a competition on 24th Jan and those results aren't up yet.

Looks like it's full membership and silver for me then.
Think I stuffed up in the last test by only being bronze as I got 67.5% in a SQ but it won't count..... Better make sure I can do it again!

And it was on 22nd Jan so I guess that explains it, j1ffy, thanks
