So i woke up early on sunday to rain - lots of it! We got to the venue on time although i did forget my number disc and i had not even learnt one of the tests!
So Ru warmed up well enough but not his best which was understandable due to warming -up on grass- wet slippy grass with no studs. So we did elem 53 first and he was alright but just not his best but we came 2nd in that class with 60%. Novice 38 was next and he was very tired after waiting from 9 until 2!
He warmed ok but he was very hard work, went in and started very well with a 8 and then he spooked at goodness knows what, i got him back quickly although he was tense. We also came 2nd in that class with 61%. Judge said he could be so good and will go far so some good comments and lots to work on.
So although they are the lowest %'s he has ever had
I was pleased and proud of him. He was very well behaved considering trains were speeding past near by and also a horse broke free headed to us whilst warming up!
