Today I trundled off to Patchetts for their BD and OMG how busy was it there, it was crazy. Lorries and trailers were packed everywhere including over the bridge. They were using indoor and outdoor arenas.
I was there for the N33 and N22, classes started at 8.30 and finished at 1, I was actually quite pleased for large classes, it gives you a better idea of how well you are doing!

Anyway first off was N33, she warmed up ok but was dripping in sweat literally before the test! her medium trot is coming on and our Give and retake is also improving.
next test was N22, she didn't warm up so well but I think the heat really got to her as she was just tightening so losing silly marks.

We got 64% in N33 and 62% for N22 to come 3rd and 6th in the Restricted, the winners had 71 and 69. I was even more pleased with my N33 as I got a 9. Honeys first 9!!

All in all a good day and as it stands she gets better mark each time out so am now looking forward to Area Festival on Tuesday.

Sorry no pictures and for the long rambley post.

WOW!!! Over the bridge!!! There must have been many entries!!! You did very well.... in this heat... blimey.... I would have shrivelled.... it was very very stuffy today.....Well done you!!!!!!! A 9 as well!!! You should be very chuffed!!!

We aren't qualified for regionals but we are going to Ardingly for Novice Area Festivals.

It was crazy there today, I think there were about 40 in the novice and about 20 in R and 20 in O. Warm up was quite busy.

The heat was horrid and I was on before 11!! My horse is exhausted and the judge wrote at the bottom of N33 that the heat may have caused her to tighten and stiffen.

Clippers are coming out tomorrow.

I am so pleased especially with the 9 as it is all starting to fall into place
