We took our 'established dressage horse' (!) out to play today, some aff dressage at the royal.
Since she had some time off with an injury she gets v v excited about going out in the lorry, so still just trying to get her to settle again!
Anyway we were 20 minutes late leaving the yard (dont ask why) and managed to park next to the man the horse nearly killed 7 years ago in an eventing accident, so i always get worried when i see him!
Warmed up for first test ok, started nicely, second canter she bucked and went disunited, corrected it, bucked again in medium canter again went disunited, did a lovely flying change across the diagonal, shame she was meant to do counter canter
! Then finished quite nicely, marks started and ended with 7's, with a 2 and a 3 thrown in the middle
Got 58.5%
and was 3rd in the restricted.
Warmed up lovely for second test, managed to keep all for feet on the floor! and apart from jogging the 2nd half of the walk did a lovely test.
Got 62.58% and won the resticted. Shame as we all thought it was a better test than that, but at least she had fun!!
xx
