Would you ring the Sec to make sure you were in?

Bearing in mind I'm competing on the 7th? I need to know whether I've been balloted or not earlier than this, as there's so much stuff to sort out including cancelling my precious day off work if I can't compete.

Are you sure it isn't a typo, and that they meant 4th Feb?

They often ballot there, so would have to get the ballot lists up before that date.

Ballot is 11th Feb, so you should be able to tell by then

I don't quite understand why any of the events leave posting times until a few days before, it makes it very difficult to organise doing anything else, or booking a day off work if you need to. Surely they could put them up a week or so beforehand.

This is what it says on bdwp:

Postal entries will not be updated till March 3/4.
The new class Pre Novice Plus is Novice dressage & Show jumping & PN cross country. It will run on Thursday not Friday as in the Magazine schedule.

The ballot date is 14th Feb.

Think I'll ring after that. Sure Sec will get peed off with all the calls, but I can't leave it to the Tues before the Friday class
