I ahve just registerred Mac for a year as I had used two day tickets and it was already up to about £35 = half a years membership! SO just registerred him.

Only thing is if he gets sold in teh next few months and I get something new do you think they would let me swap the name - i.e use that membership for another horse and Mac wont be eventing anymore after that.

Otherwise theres a whol years membership doing nothing that I have paid for!

Doubt it to be honest, think the horse membership goes with the horse. Best bet would be to ring the membership department and ask.

agree! Think you get a refund with a vets cert though.

Oh well! I spose at least if I event him till Jul I can do half a year on the next one

No thats what they do, they ahve hundreds of horses and if you want one you can have one but you pay for everything.

It is great for me as I get to ride two at a BE event - so great experience for me. And he is a Grade A so has taught me alot and helped with my SJing as I hate it! Well hated it!!!

And it wont up his money really he is already up for £15K

You knew the deal when you took the horse on. As for the owners they are on to a good thing, you pay the costs and they can sell when they want. Sorry but you would not get me doing that even for the opportunity of riding Grade A horses.

No I get the profit made on the horses.

Just not this one - he was sent to be to get fit and I knew that but I wanted to event him - even tough I knew I would get nothing from it - but I knew he would do so well!!!

But the nxt one and the nxt one I will get to sell and make profits on them - I wouldnt do it either if I never made a profit!!!

Wouldn't go for that personally - even for the chance to sit on the best horse in the world for a couple of months. Must be miserable having to sell them and see someone else get the benefit of all your hard work.

I would far rather have my cheap and chearful neddies and see them improve and climb up the ranks.

Not that Lexi is chearful very often.

But I do get the profit! From other horses I sell for her.

Its just this one who im not getting the profit for and it was my choice to keep him longer then say a mth over winter and I can afford to pay to event him and I think he will do well. As soon as he is sold though the next one I will bring on and sell and keep the profit from it.

I am far to short of time to just be riding something for nothing!

Unless its my own like Spidey who will hopefully work her way up the grades
