Be-nice headcollar for yearling that is not halter broken?

I am getting a yearling on Monday and need to start halter training. Is the be-nice halter any good for this? If so, any idea what size a TB yearling would need? Shes currently about 14.2hh

I'd get a normal headcollar first and see how you go - no point in hauling her about if she's going to accept it.

i agree with scotsmare, definatly try a normal headcollar first. you dont want 2 over complicate things with gadgets!!

Ditto - just stick with a normal headcollar for now.
