Dear Event riders,
I am currently in my final year of studying a BSc (Hons) degree in Equine Science at Hartpury University, Gloucester. As part of our third year of academic study we are required to produce an individual Dissertation/ Thesis.
Due to my involvement within eventing and the existence of tendon injuries within our event horses becoming extremely prevalent, the occurrence of tendon injuries is a subject matter of great concern to all owners, riders and trainers. In relation to this I have chosen to compile my dissertation on the re-occurrence of SDFT injuries within the elite event horse throughout GB and IRL. My main aim will be to analyse which method of treatment used for such injuries has the highest success rate in returning the horse back to its previous performance level.
I would greatly appreciate your involvement, as the more data I collect back will enable me to publish my results which I believe will contribute greatly to the on-going research into tendon injuries. Any information obtained is kept securely confidential with no personal details being asked for or shared.
