Hi
I'm having huge problems with British Eventing whilst trying to get a rider change for the BE90 Regional Finals which I qualified for last year!!
The reason i cant ride my horse myself is cos I'm pregnant!! You would have thought that would be a good enough 'extenuating circumstance'??
The rider who I proposed has only ridden to Novice level (one level higher than me) and has never competed at intermediate or beyond.
The RF rules state that the rider mustn't have ridden at advanced in order to qualify to compete!
BE have said that my friend is 'too experienced' to take over the ride, despite having her own horse in the 90 RF class!!
I'm at my wits end!
Has anyone else managed to change rider succesfully for these classes?
All help appreciated!
Thanks
