BE registration. Irish horses question.........

I've justed printed of the day ticket application for new boy to do his training class in October.

Ages since i registered T so i forgot about the imported horses bit! He's Irish and has done nothing but will he be graded higher unless i can prove otherwise? No way of proving anything (unless someone saw me riding him, hehe

) Anyway i know there is a way round this but forgotten...If anyone could enlighten me it'd be great

I did not put anything on Digbys just noted he is Irish and they never questioned it and as far as i know they have not graded him higher

same here, Andy came over from Ireland and i put this on his BE application, it was never questioned and he was not graded higher..

You could always search the Eventing Ireland website to see if he has points. If he isn't listed on there then that's your proof!

Mine was from ireland aswell, never had a problem, but his day tickets were registered as a 4yr old, so they couldnt argue that he *may* have done something previously.

I have had 3 from Ireland registered BE over the last few years - never had a problem.

To be honest I expect about half of the horses registered BE are from Ireland so it wouldn't be practical to enforce the 'international' rule!

I was reading my 5 yrs olds passport and altho Bruce came from ireland in the ISH passport it says the horse takes the nationality of the rider! So i presume hes a highlander now, lol
