I posted a few weeks ago about receiving notification about qualifying for the Scottish Intro Champs's at Hendersyde. I received my letter 1 week before entries closed (and a year after I qualified!) so called BE to make sure that they would accept my entry & confirm I had qualified, both of which they confirmed.

I then sent off my entry 4 days before closing & was called by the very lovely organiser to say that the class was full and that they were unable to enter me

Fuming with BE for taking a year to notify me as I would have entered early if I'd known. I know Hendersyde had issues with BE not notifying people this year.

So do I complain to BE as well?

I would be tempted to complain, because its hard enough to qualify for things without the added issue of the class you qualify for being full!!
A year to notify you as well, that just sounds ridiculous if you ask me..

Why was the class full, the intro champ [grassroutes] has 85 entered and they have been taking entries up to yesterday. The judge is doing half the dressage tomorrow and the other half on Saturday.
I would ask what full means

Bit late to sort it then.
I bet you would have won.lol.
I would complain and ask if you can enter next year instead, if you want to, but maybe you will qualify again or maybe you are doing bigger and better?

Nope definitely not bigger I've dropped down to baby things with baby horse and big horse is stepping back from big comps due to arthritis. Our last season together has been a non event!
