BE Training Classes

I did the Pulborough one

Was it any good? How high are the fences? I have been doing a few riding club events with my youngster and fancy doing a couple of BE events next year. I think I am going to have a go at JAS this winter also.

I did the pulborough one with my horse who had a bit of a injury / confidence crisis last season (was previously at Intro / PN before injury)!!

Thought it was fab and really boosted his confidence! IMO, pulborough is generally small, ie PN is bit like an Intro at mattingley.....thought the training course was very small, meant to be around 2ft 9?? Didnt think it was that big, and the course ran very smoothly therefore very inviting for horses.

Go for it!

I did walk the course for Mattingley and thought that it was again nice, bigger than pulborough though and included quite a few of the intro jumps

I looked at the Mattingly course and it was lovely.
What I don't understand is why it is open to 5yo's + .... surely this sort of course would benefit a 4yo, I know I would take my 4yo next season. Just seems silly to me that 4yo's are allowed to do 4 x Intro's and yet they aren't allowed to do the 80cm class!
