I decided to try BE once my horse had done a few open unaffiliated events, and by that time I was so fed up with a high majority of badly run unaff events! BE is brilliant!

when you can jump happliysj and xc........... heights and of course have ok dressage...
but if you don't think can get round, do unaffililate event round at BE course and then you can gauge cos you don't want a big E as it's too expensive for one of thoses..........

Mine went intro for his first ever event! He'd been sj once and xc schooled at home and done 1 walk and trot test! In at the deep end!!

I would advise to do some unaffiliated events first to get used to the whole format.
