BE90 & BE100 Scottish Champs @ Blair

After watching this yesterday at Blair, I wondered what the qualification criteria is and understand you have to come 1st-3rd in any regular BE90 or 100 to qualify. Can anyone advise though if you can qualify if you're on a ticket? Im only ever on day tickets these days as not worth joining but if I did manage to come 1st-3rd (yeah right!) then I wondered if this would still be eligible assuming Id join BE properly prior to the champs?

Also, are these going to always be at Blair or do they move around venues every year? Thanks!
 
We had a mare in this yesterday :)

As far as I know it's just 1-3rd in a Scottish BE90/100. BE would tell you if a day ticket is allowed, they are pretty good at answering questions.

It has replaced the Hendersyde Scottish Champs (big miss for Hendersyde :() As far as I've heard from those in the know re. Blair, it is to be a permanent feature.

We had a great day, not in terms of results, but a fab atmosphere and very educational.
 
Thanks AnShanDan :) Glad you had a great day even if not in results. Blair is a lovely event with such a great atmosphere :) Not so good today as Im reading the A9 is closed due to a sad, bad accident earlier today so some people will be sitting in huge traffic jams for some time unfortunately.
 
Yep, that was us last night. Such a sad thing to happen. We finally left at 7.15 when the road was open again, got home at 9pm but think it had been really difficult to actually get up after the accident. They were saying at Blair that any unscanned tickets for yesterday would be honoured today, if anyone has one.
