Hi I was just after people's opinions on either beach as I have to choose between one or the other this weekend. I was wondering if anyone knows pros and cons of both?
Thanks in advance.:)

I've only been to Camber, plenty of parking (have to pay for each space parked in - 2x for car + trailer), access straight on to the beach, toilets. Lots of space to ride when the tide is out.

Would recommend :D

Thanks both, I heard that you have to be careful of soft patches in the sand at Camber, whereas Sandwich is safer, not sure if that's correct.

I've only been to Camber also, so I can't recommend. I've not expierence any problems there with soft sand, but I did at the beach down the road Gravestone.

I've only ridden on Camber and it used to be free to park (my how times change ) - you have to always be safe on beaches, whether you know of sand problems or not - walk out, and trot or canter back in your tracks so you KNOW it's safe. You may already know all this of course, but then you don't need to worry about soft sand. Also never ride horses directly out into the sea, always at an angle as they can supposedly start swimming out and it's almost impossible to turn them!
