... going there in a few weeks time. I wondered if anyone knows if there's a good place for riding on the beach anywhere in Cornwall? We aren't taking our own horses, we would need a riding school that provides the neddies

just to let you know that trenance riding school (where the link is for) do do riding on the beach, but it is restricted at this time of year due to the summer season. although you can go on cubert commons which is good, and you do go across the sandy beach of the river gannell which is great! i know all this because i used to ride there and one of my best friends works there! and the horse on the front page is called ace! god its bringing back memories for me

but of course it all depends on where you go. have fun, riding on the beach is the best thing!

Listen ere me ansome!!..You are coming down to near wadebridge which is my neck of the woods.Trenance might be your best bet but as someone has said this time of year unless you want to go windbreak jumping is going to be quite hard to find somewhere that will do beach rides.Unless it's very early in the morning. There is a trekking place near me(near Padstow) called Tresallyn riding school they might be able to help you but it might be a very early ride.Hope you ave a lovely holiday all the same.

Oooh, my neck of the woods too, agree with Rema but also Perranporth riding stables have great access to an amazing beach - again, restricted at this time of year though. Think the stables there may be called Perran Sands, may be worth googling. Have a great holiday.
