Beach riding , south Devon

Hi, would love to take the boy to the beach for some fun, but have no ide where to go. Am in the Exeter area, and have transport. Not keen on Exmouth, but was wondering about Mothercombe? Any ideas gratefully received,

Mothecombe is great but the tide does need to be out.
We’re planning to go there this Sunday morning In fact.

Would be great if you could let me know how you get on. It would be nice to have somewhere to go in the winter months when the fields aren't useable

No problem.
I’ve been there before a couple of years ago. This time we’re planning to park near Kingston and ride down to the Wonwell beach side as it’s a longer ride before the beach to take the edge off! However there is a dedicated car park at Mothecombe.
