Does anyone know of good places to take horses on the beach?
My friend and I spent a week in Norfolk last summer and had the most amazing time, so we're looking for somewhere different to go this year.
We're based oxon/bucks way, about as far away from the sea as you can get, so we're willing to consider anywhere in the country, also if anyone can recommend places that would do a week grass livery, we can bring our own electric fencing if necessary, with accommodation (we're not averse to roughing it, so camping would do) for us close by that would be fab!
Thanks in advance

Hi, we are down in East Sussex and live a short trailer ride from great beach riding.
and your more than welcome to pitch a tent in our garden and park your ponies in our field.

We went to Ferring Beach which is ok, West wittering and cambersands you can also ride on but check tides times and certain times of year beach may be closed to horses :(

Did you ride on Holkham when you went to Norfolk?? thats the best ever :)

Glastonbury for horses !!! lol, sounds excellent fun.
Yep the more the merrier, garden not hugebut we can use the paddocks as overflow camping sites.

Camber sands is closed during the day from may to october, but riding still permitted early morns and evening.
