Hope someone will be able to help

Has anyone ridden on either Ferring or Climping beach??
If so what were they like were they easy to access on a horse and which beach is better, is there somewhere to park a horsebox?

I know West Wittering is lovely but we are doing a photo shoot and they wont allow this there so need to look at other options...

or if anyone knows any other beach not too far from London that allows horse riding on beach!!

Hiya, yes I have ridden on Ferring beach.

Parking is quite good, we just parked along the seafront (Marine Drive) and walked along (west) to a little access road (Sea Lane) Unfortunately don't think your allowed to go across the grass! (Zoom into A on the linked map!)

You do have to walk over a small amount of shingles to get to the sand though, but wasn't too much of a problem as long as you take it slowly

So hard trying to find anything out and tourist information doesnt seem to know anything !

No probs! Just don't forget to check the tides before you go as the sand goes when tide is high!!
