I know nothing about it so can someone answer a few questions?

What would they be hunting, if it wasn't banned?
Can you follow on horseback, like foxhounds?
And is it faster than a foxhound hunt?

Thanks

They used to hunt hares, they can still legally draw for injured ones, for instance if a gamekeeper has been lamping and believes he may have injured one. They can hunt rabbits now.
(In my experience, their favourite quarry is deer!)
Its done on foot.
Its slower, although they are pretty quick over the ground.
Its good fun, and the hounds are great. A tip: folllow the oldest lamest boy out, he'll be with them all day and not huffing at the end!!
