Beanie update for anyone interested

Well we've now done a bute trial, no difference at all.... but we also tried her on different surfaces. She is 100% sound on a straight line on tarmac, and is pretty much sound on a circle on a woodchip surface and on grass. But still about 1/10 lame on a circle in the sand school. Our school is probably a little deeper than most, so it shows up whatever it is more.

Need to have a think over what to do next really, as she is sound and happy hacking and on a harder surface. Bottom line is I've still outgrown her and need to find her a new home, be it selling or loaning. Any suggestions welcome, just thought a few might like an update on the broken pony. Bit more positive news anyway

I'd loan her or sell her on as a hack only and reflect it in the price if you sell. As long as you're totally honest I think there will be people out there who would buy her for that purpose, as long as she's good to hack.

I really wouldn't sell her. If you are honest about her when you sell her; her lameness, that she is troublesome to shoe, then you are going to get hardly any money for her. As a horse so lightly lame and still quite young, she is just the type to get sold on.

Try and find her a light hacking home to loan her to, where you can keep an eye on her

Yes I expect I will loan her tbh

Will be totally honest as I want the best home for her, it's hard enough as it it.

Vet and I are confident that lameness won't really change, as we expect it has been very longstanding

Everyone keep your ears open for a hack/the occasional light schooling home for loan or lwvtb.
