First of all, thumbs up for Wholehorse, very fast delivery, very helpfull when I wanted to add to my order!

Secondly, has anyone else had trouble with Beanlands group AKA tack-up? I ordered with them months ago, they claimed they had administrative issues, and promised me delivery soon, and discounts etc (this was still months ago) and I still have not recieved my order despite emailing them a few times! Putting together a strongly worded letter at the moment.

Anyway MY POINT IS that I reccoment Wholehorse fully, and dont reccomend the latter. If anyone has had problems with Beanlands i'd love to know how/if they were resolved.

i won a £5 from tack-up because i got placed in an online showing class which they were sponsoring, they sent me through the e-voucher via e-mail this afternoon, thought great i'll go have a look....they have nothing on their website. everything is coming up saying "sorry nothing in this category". uuurghhhh

hello!

I am having problems with Tack Up Ltd with an order I made over a month ago and am still awaiting part of it! Jason Beanland originally contacted me (once, after I contacted them first) to say they were having issues with my order and only could send part of it! They are now ignoring all my emails and I cannot contact them by phone as their telephone system does not work (most conveniently). I thought about writing to them, but will that make any difference.... provided they have given the correct address!!!? I can't believe I've been shafted!!

I'd like to know what I can do now?? Has anyone else had any more bad luck with them?? I can't believe I am being shafted! I haven't submitted my google review yet, but I will give them til tomorrow!

Any advice most appreciated!

Thanks

im in the same boat :(
I ordered on the 11th, they say 1-2 days for processing, and (i think )3-6 for post, still not here.

They are ignoring emails, the customer service email address bounces back, and the phones 'arent working'. Im really annoyed actually.

Thanks for the advice Custard Cream, but I paid via Google Checkout using my debit card. You only get covered by your Credit Card if you have paid over £100 I think. It doesn't look like Google has any kind of buyer protection like Paypal/Ebay. I've made a complaint to them though!

To me it's obvious they are shafting people and I wonder how many more people they are doing/have done this to? It says on their homepage that they sponsor Abbie Squires..... so I sent a message via her website to inform them of the situation & to ask how to get hold of Jason Beanland or Julia Clough (the Directors of Tack Up)? I am willing to try anything now... I just want my money back!!!! If I lived close enough, I'd be making a little visit to their premises (I live in Ipswich)... I have left a negative review on Google to warn others against them!!

I hope you get a good result Snow Angel... plz let me know if your bank can help.

Hi ngrace.... have you heard anything further? Did you write to them and did you get a response/result?

Do we have any legal standing as buyers? Is it worth contacting Watchdog, etc?

Hmph!

now the wesite says this

Temporarily Unavailable

The requested site is not currently available,
please try again later

The website is back up and running again!

They also have a Facebook page which shows on their wall that the last update was Wednesday 23rd November!! What a nerve!!

This company has really taken the biscuit! I have reported it all to Google now who are processing my complaint, but it doesn't guarantee my money back!!! I left a 1 star review via Google Checkout telling people to beware of them!! I'm going to contact the BBC's Watchdog also!! I really don't want Tack Up to get away with this.... they are obviously on the fiddle!! If only they were just down the road from me.....!

I've contacted West Yorkshire Trading Standards (as the company is based in Leeds) and submitted a complaint. I have contacted BBC's Watchdog also!!

Numerous emails later, I finally have a response from Tack Up Ltd! I've shown them in the other thread Snow Angel started called 'tack-up.co.uk? Problems?' There appears to be some kind of result.... we hope!!?

will be checking the bank again today to see if my refund has turned up yet, I know it can take a while, but I wont relax about this until I see it there in black and white...

thanks Cuffey. There are some more details on the other thread, we've had some response to our emails *finally* and hopefully a refund will be turning up in my bank very soon. we will see ;)

Thanks Cuffey & everybody else!

I've sent 2 reminder emails today (the last requesting a full refund and to forget sending me the order) as they were supposed to get back to me..... not a sausage! Surprised?!

dizzydonkeys: The registered address is 77 Denshaw Drive, Morley, LS27 8RS. I'd love to turn up with inflatable shoulders, as I'm mad enough to have a go!! Lol. Most grateful dizzydonkeys if you could have a gander :)

See other thread titled "tack-up.co.uk? Problems?" for further goings on: http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?p=10209201#post10209201

:mad::mad:

Please let us know if anyone has actually received their refund!!

xx

organicjo, happy to report my refund is showing on my account today. Lesson learnt on my part, dont just do a quick google to look for bad reviews LOOK AGAIN PROPERLY

Hi Everyone

We have just been made aware of this thread. we are sorry that many of you have problems with us. however we kindly ask that you send us a email via our contact page to notify us if you would like a refund for your order. Those of you that paid by credit card will receive a refund direct to your account, those that used google checkout or other payment method will receive a refund by cheque.

Any orders that aren't cancelled will still be shipped, we are aiming at shipping all orders within 7 days.

Sorry for the issues you have experienced

Tack Up

Brilliant Snow Angel! Persistence does pay off in the end!!

They have finally written to me to confirm issue of refund! Now it's my turn to wait for it's appearance into my account Lol. No mention of that gesture of good will.... to be honest I will be glad when it's all over & I just cannot be bothered with them any longer! Yes I will be more careful with companies I am unfamiliar with and do Google searches for reviews/complaints/etc in the future

I hope others out there get the same result! Write to Paula Stevenson at beanlands@googlemail.com and get ur refunds (roll up, roll up Lol). I am unsure if they have been contacting people off their own back, but those of you who are now in the know thanks to the two threads on this forum, just persist on getting your refund and then you can wash your hands of them just as I will!

Cheerio for now

x

:)

Well hallelujah and Praise the Lord! I received a full refund today..... I just hope by some freak of nature they don't take it back Lol :p

So for nearly two months after I parted with my money (and I'm sure it would have been longer if I hadn't taken action!!), they've earned nearly 2 months worth of interest while it sat in their bank account! Thanks for the lack of gesture of goodwill Tack Up.... so in my eyes, not sorry enough! But no thanks, as I do not trust you to repeat history and it was somewhat stressful chasing you down, contacting other people/organisations & time wasting to say the least, in order to get a result! And to date, no proper explanation! I think you hope it will all blow over and people will forget?! All you had to do Tack Up was communicate instead of ignoring emails and lying about your telephone system (or actually fixing it so that no-one could get through in the first place!!)! You're lucky I wasn't physically able to march straight down to your office thanks to distance on your side!! How does your supposed Sponsee, Abbie Squires, feel (she hadn't been able to get hold of you either!!)..... as you've been ignoring her also? It didn't take an arm & a leg to make the refunds which could have been done alot sooner especially if we paid via Google!! No excuses now!! I just hope you have contacted 'everybody' to at least refund them their money if you cannot fulfill their orders!!!! You have only yourselves to blame Tack Up/Jason Beanland!

Sayonara

O'Jo :)

thats great.

A scary thought just struck me when you said about them taking it back...Is it possible for a payment to be re-taken/re-presented after a refund? Is it worth saying to the bank, block this company, no more money to this person...EVER? Do they do that?

I ordered some stuff online from Tack-Up over two weeks ago. Despite many emails , and also filling in the 'contact us' form because conveniently the telephone system is working, I am still nowhere near getting my stuff , or a refund , or a reply.

I wish I had done a search beforehand.

I paid by credit card - can I get my money back from the card supplier?

Isn't it fraud to take money for goods and services and not deliver?

yes I think you can get onto your CC company and tell them whats going on with this ridiculous company and they should be able to get your money back.
My bank gave me details for their fraud dept when I talked to them about it, so they at least seemed to think it was fraudulent.

Id forget about ever getting your stuff, and if you havent already, demand a refund and cancel your order. I and some others on here informed trading standards, I suggest you also do the same. Get right onto your CC company about it, or you'll be waiting a long time for your stuff and can wave your money goodbye, basically.

Also, theres another thread on here about them, take a look on there in case theres additional info that might be useful :)

I have finally had my refund!! :D

Their website re-appeared on 23rd Dec, so I used the contact form on it. I received the refund on 24th Dec! It's not been easy though, prior to that I called, emailed, Facebooked and even PM'd them on here, but all to no avail. It was only when I told them via the website contact form that I had reported them to Trading Standards but would withdraw my complaint if they refunded me immediately that I got my refund!

Good luck to everyone else that has had the misfortune to try to buy something from Tack-Up.co.uk, I hope you get your goods/refund soon!

Well, I have kept submitting via the 'contact us' form on the website, but absolutely no response.

I have finally contacted West Yorkshire Trading standards about this.

We wait ... :(
