Beans came home today - incl. a few pics for those who asked!

Thank you very much to everyone who has sent good wishes, and I know some of you were asking for pics, so here she is; my grotty little pony, in her new mini paddock she'll be resting in for a bit.

She travelled and has settled well (as she always does). She has two other horses opposite to watch (and my friends whose yard it is are going to feed her for me in the morning, when they feed their two, so they are fed together).

In between me leaving her with lots of stable stains this morning, and going back this evening, she has been enjoying the access to mud!!

There will be no "walking out"

She is in these two little paddocks for the next six weeks (assuming there are no disasters

) With the exception of having these shoes off, and the next ones on, which I thing we are going to make remedial to try and reduce how she brushes behind... Vets, farrier, and friends at yard are all being wonderful in helping her recovery

Oh, and I have made sure I came home with some sedalin

No matter the injuries that she happened to cause me, or that she is having, if there is a horse capable, and deserving of a miracle, than this is she.

When I met her, or even before (I had a list that she fulfilled and more!!), I believed that she was/is my dream come true.

I have never met another horse who I have felt is so full of love and also talent in herself. I am gutted that her jumping career is over. But I have this funny feeling she still has so much more to give.... Oh, and I love her to pieces

More pieces than she put my face into... which is saying something!

LOL! I know where you are coming from, I am concerned that the vets and such like think that I am scared of my own horse

but I am very aware of the importance of being careful
