Are we all sitting comfortably? Then I'll begin!;):D

On 26 March 2010, in a little town called Stary Bohumin in the Czech Republic, three little Border Terrier babies were born to Brita and The Brigadier. Benny od Bohuminskych rybniku and his brother and sister, along with Mum and Dad, came to Germany when the little ones were about four weeks old. OH and went to view the litter shortly after having lost our old BT, Tugg, to heart and lung problems........A horrid time........:( OH took one look at little Benny and decided that he would come home with us when he got to eight weeks. Which he did, and the rest, as they say is history! :D OH decided that the wee fella was most definately a Bear, and although Benny is his kennel name, a big bear-hugging, loving, loyal little dog has now reached his first birthday! So here's to you, Bear, darling. Thank you so much for being the great character that you are. You are loved hugely and every day is an adventure. :D *silly moo wipes leaking eyes!*
Here we go: 8 weeks

Large helping of Birthday Ckae for those of you who got this far! ;):D

:D Thank you muchly, everyone! :D The wee fella enjoyed a lunch of sardine and rice, and I expect he'll be allowed a slurp of good old vino tinto this evening as a night cap..........;);)

Ravenwood - thank you, especially! ;) We lost Tugg on 29 April, and Bear came home on 20 May 2010, so it's a little less than a year. But what the heck! Bear's one today, and that's a good a reason as any to party.......:D:D:D

:D Haha! He was hairy, but I've started his strip. Very much a case of work in progress, but here's a few more pics from up the paddock.
Grrrrrrrr........Diggin' out a molehill.

Bear hopes his Little Princess B is keeping well and not being too naughty! ;);):D

He is so cute :) Makes me want another border now (OH says no, he thinks I will collect them forever if I get another!)

B has been very strangely good actually, it's a bit scary :o

She did a real grown up swim in the manky river this week :D and her recall has improved so much that her beloved daddy even let her off lead for a couple of walks. We have discovered she will always come back for a tube of primula ;)

Aaawwwwww!! Go on! You know you want another one! lol:D

And as for the Primula - haven't tried that one. But recall isn't much of a problem as long as whoever is walking Bear has a few bits of kibble in a pocket, he's anyone's!:D
