Bear the Border is 12 weeks old today!

The litle horror (did I really say that?!) is 12 weeks today, so I thought I'd post some pics.
The first is at 8 weeks, just for comparison purposes:

The wee fella has settled in beautifully, and is making friends all over. YO's daughter now wants one too, but after Dad found out what we paid for Bear, he said she'd have to wait until she starts earning her own money! She's 15, BTW.

mollichop - OH is besotted, but I fear I am more so! Perhaps it's something to do with mothering instincts. I dunno! lol And Bear is busy filling Tugg's boots, too. Of course there are similarities between the two as they are of the same breed - the after-breakfast/dinner/supper burp is worthy of Tugg, and the growl has the same tone. But there are also some marked differences - Tugg was a relatively laid back individual, even as a pup, but Bear is really living up to his name! Feisty, gobby, in yer face etc., etc! Life is not dull here!

Vizslak - Can't recommend Borders highly enough! The moment you get a chance to have one, take it! You won't regret it, believe me!

OMG, I want to squish him! He reminds me of wee Chester when he was that age (even the color of the sofa!). I love him! Awwww, now I'm getting broody. Don't think my hubby'd go for a fourth dog

Today Bear discovered that Mum (Muggins!) is a very comfy matrass for a quick forty winks! Heck! I know I could do with losing a kilo or two, but Bear finds me soooooo snug, he settles on his back and has a good old snore....................

numptynovice - you're right! 12 weeks old already - heaven knows what he'll be like when he's 12 months old!

slinkyunicorn - he's reached the point now where he needs his face wiped after eating, or his whiskers go all sticky and yucky. He looks on this as a challenge and won't give the cloth back without fighting for it first!

dibbin - not much chance of that, I'm afraid! You'd have to get between OH and the dog to stand any chance of stealing him away!

littlemisslauren - nice to hear someone else on here has a youngster too. How old is your little girl? Any chance of a piccy so we can compare?!
