The little terror had a 'half birthday' yesterday, so I thought I'd put up a few pics of his progress since coming to live with us back in May.
At 8 weeks

I can't get over how much his colour's changed - daresay it will change again in the spring after his first strip. And he's physically soooooo different from Tugg - bigger, stronger dog, with a very thick tail!:D
Just realised - in most pics that I have of him, he's either sleeping or sitting/lying. Probably because he's incredibly difficult to 'capture' whilst on the move - too flipping quick!
Hope you enjoy! :)

just love his wee ottership! :D And that reminds me, long before I ever had a BT of my own, my hubby and I were watching a nature program with river otters on it. And from this show, we learned how otters would play like mad and then just instantly sort of drop in to sleep - so we coined the phrase "Ottering" eg - I'm going to otter now.... and then we got Chester, which as a Border Terrorist is meant to not only LOOK like an otter, but also has that same ability "to otter". :D Hope that made sense!

Aw no! I just showed Betsy the pics of Bear, we decided he is excellent boyfriend material! They both have to same 'frog' positions haha!

Bs colouring has changed so much from being 8 weeks too! You dont realise how much untill you look back through the pics :)

He is beautiful :)

PnP - Thank you! Bear 'otters' very well, too! :D

Annette4 - Thank you! Bear would make a lovely boyfriend - only problem is he will be 'adjusted' as soon as our move is complete (long story!) and he's physically mature enough! :(;)

littlemisslauren - Thank you! Agree - Betsy and Bear! How cool does that sound! lol :D But same applies as above - due for re-arrangement of nether regions, probably in New Year.......Bear seems to have sprouted from almost nothing at 8 weeks to this hulking, boisterous BT we have now. Don't know where the summer went........;):D

Betsy is also due to be 're - arranged' in the next month or so, they can still be in love haha! Just no nooky or babies to worry about!

I completely understand the 'sprout' they have, Betsy jumped onto my knee for a cuddle earlier and I couldnt see the TV over her! Thats when I realised she wasnt tiny anymore!

He's gorgeous! :D My Border pup is almost 4 months now and I'm amazed at how much he's grown already, he'll be as big as your chap in no time!

Jack also spends a lot of time in frog mode!

Is this a Border thing? Our other lad (Golden Retriever) only ever does it if he's stretching.

Celia - My 14 year old BT has never done it! But the puppy is ALWAYS like that! She does it so much that I sometimes worry about her back end! lol. Your boy is gorgeous too :)

slinkyunicorn - Thankies! Bear knows you love a good BT!;):D

celia - I think it is a Border thing. Tugg did it too (we lost him at the end of April, and took only two blinks to decide on having another - BTs get you like that, you know! ;)), but I've never known any other breed of dog do it. Of course, I am ready to be corrected if needs be! :D Must say, your Jack is a lovely looking boy. :)

Oh he is lovely. Absolutely gorgeous. I really want one, and I want to call it Otter. :D Sad I know but!

Think the frog thing is definately a Border Terrier thing, my grandparents (very hairy!!) BT does it all the time, and he has a moving frog/belly crawl...
Even the other dogs despair!

Cutecutecute :D
I think it must be a BT thing because my neighbour's does it too. Having said that, Tessie's a Lucas x and she used to do it quite often (though not so much now as she's getting arthritic in her hips) so maybe she's got BT in her somewhere?.
And, alarmingly, the Lurcher has a tendancy to do it after stretching - though I think he just so lazy he stays in whatever position he ends up in lol :D

Thanks, everyone, for your lovely comments. :)

We used to have a large piece of coconut matting in the cellar of our old house, over which Tugg used to drag himself at least once a day. OH called it the Commando Belly Crawl! Bear loves to haul himself over the doormat, but as that's a bit on the small side, he'll have his own coconut matting when we move - probably first week in November. :)

numptynovice - Bear says Hiya, too! ;) I would put more pics of the hooligan up, but I don't want to bore you all rigid with his exploits........ :o And, yeah! Where did the time go? I swear it flies faster the older I get........:D

 Awright, awright!!;) *scuttles off and has a rummage*

OK, so here we were on our holiday in the Black Forest - just two pics from lord knows how many......;)

Any better? ;);):D

Betsy and Bear are a perfect match!
She regularly sticks her head through gaps in fences / windows / through peoples legs when her precious daddy is out of sight!!
I will chase her round with a camera tomorrow so Bear can check out his potential missus! :p

All these pictures of pups is making me want another BT pup...... Shame OH would kill me if the stress of having 2 pups at once didnt do the job! The plan is human sproglet( :o:o:o ) next then a lab...

but I would much rather have a house full of BTs :D

numptynovice - Thank you! :D:D

littlemisslauren - Thank you, too! Bear eagerly awaits photos of any prospective girlfriends, so thanks in advance for any images of Betsy. :)

A house full of BT's is far, far more preferable to babies of any kind - even human ones! Believe me! I know!! I've been there, and got the scars to prove it!:rolleyes: (Not that I would - far too gruesome!:o;))
