Thanks everyone for your kind words yesterday.

Bear still had a temp of 39.5 this morning and he was walking very oddly so as I had a busy day with horse vets in for clients I opted to take him straight back this morning. He had another jab to bring his temp down and another shot of antibiotic.

I then remembered one of the puppies crying yesterday when they were playing in the walker so think one of them had got a shock. So now guessing that was Bear we are putting the funny walking down to that. So to help this I put the 'back on track' horse rug in his bed and he is now walking much better.

The jabs seem to have bought his temp down and he is playing much more but the vet still wants to see him again tonight. So I'm just about to take him back then I have to rush home and drop him off at home to go back to the vets for the first puppy class (but this one is just for handlers/owners!!)

Will let you all know later how this evenings visit goes, but fingers crossed he's on the right road.

Fingers crossed Bear recovers soon.

Yet another of those times I wish they could talk and tell us what/if something has happened and where/how it hurts. But then I comfort myself that they would probably just do as young children (the ones I know at least), no matter where they're hurt, when you ask them it's "always" the tummy. Even if they "only" have fever, it's the tummy that hurts.

Poor lad, hope he feels better soon. That is the trouble with pups, they go where they shouldn't and end up in the wars
