Ok folks, clipped OH newish horse today.

Don't know if he has ever been done but was a total eejit so think not.
Managed to get most done, except round back of head. Granted my clippers are noisy so can anyone recommend some quiet beard trimmers I can buy tomorrow to tidy him up?

He just won't entertain them near his head. To be fair, I wouldn't either.

So, quiet beard trimmers anyone?

Depending how hairy he is I've got some £10 wahl human clippers. I use them in summer for beard trimming, top notches etc. They clipped embarrassing things like a bow, stars & hearts on daughters densely coated pony & round her tiny chin where the others wouldn't fit. Reckon they'd do a full head on a normal horse. If you don't mind spending more though lister meteors are great, they are very quiet & do a fab job. Just check which blades they come with, its sometimes the superfine ones.
