Hi

I was just wondering does anyone know when the Beaulieu road sales sells the forest bred ponies or is it every auction?

I think they do now. However you are best to get there at about 9 so you can watch them arrive and if they are doing pre-sale foal and youngstock show first you can see all the entries being shown. which the first one of the year usually is.

You can find the details and sales catalog on NFED.co.uk.

I'm not sure whet the prices will be like this year as there are very few forest bred foals about due to limiting the numbers of stallions and the amount of time they are due out.

I have 3 foresters, all from the sales! They are FAB!

One is 14 now, a very good competition pony.
The other two are chestnut filly yearlings, very inquisitive and learning fast.

They have lovely personalities and you won't regret it!
Good luck, let us know if you come out with anything! :D

hi!!! the first one is on the 21st may i think!! i went every month last year, came back with 3 part breds, defo need to be there early, im late EVERY month as my time keeping is crap lol!!! always good to have a potter around first! let us know and if you need company ill be the one with the doberman and a fluffy head band with my hands tied to my feet :)

Both my mares came from there, my farrier says most of the wash ups / duds are at the spring sale ( No offence , I don't agree since I found out my youngster comes from the spring sale)

I'm trying to persuade parents that it'll be a good investment for me to move onto when I out grow my youngster in 4 years time...
