Hi, ive had horses 25 years but ive never sold anything. Ive got a 17hh 8yr old hanovarian that ive had to retire due to previous injuries. She is extremly well bred, her sire is wie weltmeyer, dam is diamontina, her grandsire is weltmeyer and brother is sandro sun. Does anyone know of someone wanting a broodmare?

She got severly cast as a 5 yr old and was retired then (i found out after i bought her) then the people before me jumped her continuously which has clearly done more damage.

Is she breeding approved for any WB registry? And if not, is she sound enough to be able to pass an inspection and be given full breeding rights within a WB registry? I think that would be the deciding factor for many serious breeders.

If she got badly damaged by getting cast and then more damage from jumping would I be correct to think that its her back that has a problem? if so then I would be wary of the weight of a foal causing more damage to her. other than sandro sun who is a half brother there is not enough well known performance breeding on her dam side to interest a lot of breeders so sadly in the current market and time of year its not going to be easy to find her a home with a serious breeder :(

Hi Spring feather she isnt approved yet but is sound enough to pass as shes not lame. Ive spoken with vets who have helped me with the decision to retire her as a broodmare. I have never sold anything before and it isnt something ive taken lightly and id rather keep her than her fall into the wrong hands. I just want someone who will breed from her sensibly and look after her. X
