I'm thinking of starting to work towards becoming a trainee BD dressage judge whilst I'm waiting for my baby horse to grow up.
I was just wondering if anyone had any experiences of the process they would like to share. I've had a little look at the requirements and it seems quite long winded, but that could just be on paper.
The most difficult thing for me, having not competed in 10 years, will be to find suitable referees who judged me back then and can remember who I am! If I don't recognise any of the judges names on the BD list after all this time it may be hard to find someone who remembers me!
Anyway, I would be interested to hear if anyone has been through the process recently and to know how you got on and whether you progressed off the trainee list.
