Bed Nuts

I am thinking about trying Bed nuts this winter to bed my horse on, I have looked at White Horse Bedding, Thirsty Bed etc. but would like to know what people think of this sort of bedding to use, and which brand would you recommend.

I assume these are wood based compressed pellets, just put in a barrow and add some water. There are two graded, plain and premium, just start with premium.
You need maybe £50 worth to start, I would use shavings for walls if you want walls. They don't smell much and are easy to keep clean. Cheaper than shavings over a few months.

Fantastic, I've used them for a good while now. My horse was on box rest from 28.04.12 to the other week, I have imagined how much it would have cost me on shavings, wouldn't have been pretty lol
