Bedding again

Hi guys

At the moment I am looking into other types and makes of bedding as I am totally fed up with the stench from having my messy mare on straw.

I am looking for something that is very absorbent as my mare wee’s a lot.

Below is a list of makes of beddings, if you can think of any more then please let me know.

Easibed – wood fibres
Aquamax – pine wood fibres
Bliss – chopped rape straw
Aubiose - hemp
Hemcore – hemp (looks like flax)
Rapport – chopped rape straw
EcoBed - cardboard
Bedmax – large shavings flakes
Woody Pet – wood fibre into pellets
Equisorb - flax
Hippofan Flax
CushionBed – dried wood fibre
Mendip Shavings
ComfyBed – like flax
Miscanthus – chopped elephant grass
Megasorb – wood pulp

Natures Best - wood pellets similar to Aquamax.

Mendip Shavings by the way are large flake shavings like Bedmax (actually I prefer Mendips to Bedmax)

From what you describe, I think wood pellets may be the best way forward for you and your mare.

Nedz bed - all the benefits of straw but more absorbent and dust extracted plus their new one nedz bed advance is mega absorbent - i use two of their products mixed together and would never go back. Wood pellets can be very dusty although very cheap.
