My horse has very deep clefts in her feet and as such is very prone to thrush. She is both very wet & very messy in her stable, and will boxwalk occasionally.
I was just wondering whether anyone could recommend a good bedding for her? I was going to go with traditional shavings but purely because there are now so many different types of bedding on the market that I just dont which to choose!
Alot of them seem to work most effectively when deep littered, but I dont know whether this would be a good idea with the thrush?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

Anything dry tbh. I would avoid straw!!!

My stinky girl has a deep shavings bed, but even then she treads in poo and gets it stuck in her feet. I just pick out every day and spray with foot rot spray. I have never managed to get rid of it completely

Aubiose is good semi deep littered. Keep the bed deep and skip out daily, and take the wet out from the bottom and top up once a week. If you have the bed deep enough it won't move around and the top stays dry.
