bedding help please

i have two ponies and they are both on hunter chippings. they are both really messy i want to put them on straw again but they both eat it alot!!! any cheaper alternatives to hunters ??

Have you tried wood pellets?
Or something like NedzBedz?

I use cushionbed... have found it fab (I take the wet out daily)... if you buy in bulk they give good discounts... I got mine for £4 a bale incl VAT & delivery, and I only used one or two bales per week, which is good going for me!!

I use Bed-down Excel, lovely stuff, has straw in with the shavings and doesn't seem to get so wet as the hunter does.
