Bedding in a 3.5 lorry (collecting bales!)

Can I fit a whole pallet of bedding into a 3.5 lorry? before I buy and turn up to find I can't. I know i'll have to open the pallet and hand ball them on but anyone know how many you can get in?

Probably. If a pallet=36 to 40 bales.
I can get 36 bales of hay in my lorry. Have to use the back door living area for the last few.
The hardest part is stacking them - getting the top ones on a stack. Unless you are very strong you will need a helper.

I used to get 40 bales hay in 3.5t box. We had some in the Luton.

I would think so, we fit just over 100 small bales of hay in a friends 3.5t......was

I an get 35 20kg bales of bedding in mine, but I do ave to take out te partition so all the space can be used.

Ok thank you! Sounds doable but hard!
I think I’ll collect enough to start me off and just order a pallet to be delivered.
My partition is really hard to get in and out and I’m not feeling the love of how much work it’s going to be

FYI you can fit 6 in a Vauxhall Corsa van. That'll do for today
