hey all,

was just seeing if anyone could recommend a suitable bedding for trailers? ive got a wessex with rubber matting but it gets a bit slippy when there is poo about! it also might help soak up some of the condensation which seems to be appearing in the colder weather.

was thinking of putting a bale of shavings in there but i can see it ending up everywhere!

hi . try Aquamax bedding its ideal for trailer use i use it in my ifor williams shavings are a nightmare but i've had this bag of aqua max for 8 months and still 1/2 a bag left i like to jet wash the trailer every other time its used. here's some info for you

Aquamax bedding

Special features: Environmentally friendly, biodegradable, pine bedding. Price: around £4.95 per bag. Contact Aquamax 01793 554751

Tester's view: “Having been happy with shavings for most of my horsy life, I was reluctant to try anything new. But I’m glad I did, because Aquamax cuts my mucking-out time in half!
“It’s a pure pine bedding which absorbs four times its own volume. And being quite heavy, it stays in place – meaning that droppings stay in piles rather than getting spread around the stable. And although Aquamax comes in small bags, I find that I actually save money, using only one bag a fortnight!”
