bedding made from rape stalk

Bedrap is what I use - its made from rape straw I believe- its fab stuff!

Is it any cheaper? Rape seems to grow better than corn and as everyone is so short of straw at the mo.....

Ive got Bliss bedding, it is good stuff, but very different to straw, it is dust extracted and very unpalatable! Makes a nice bed, but is messy, my horse is very wet on it, and it is quite light so moves about a fair bit. Very absorbant though, but just not great if you have a very messy horse! Certainly cheaper than shavings, but not as cheap as straw.

Nedz Bed Pro is made from chopped and treated rape straw. It's excellent stuff.

My local stockist charges £4.95 a bale but if you order direct from the manufacturer (minimum 6 pallets for delivery) its much cheaper.
