Has anybody used flax in stables with cobbled floors? my boxes date from 1700 or thereabouts.I've always used straw, but am thinking of moving into the 21st century! Any advice gratefully received.
the stables at our livery yard were built mostly in 1800s and some are still cobbled, some have small bricks laid in herringbone patterns. People use shavings/bliss/flax/hemp all with good success.
