Ok, so i am going onto part livery (small yey!), where i have full control of everything . Dee will be mainly living out during the day but can be at times a little sensitive to dust. What bedding does everyone recommend? ATM she is on bog standard shavings, but straw is cheaper... decisions decisions!

I wouldn't change from Wood pellets now. For me the cheapest and the best. Straw smells and shavings are a pain. I would avoid straw certainly if she is sensitive to dust.

I like rubber mats and shavings! I have tried wood pellets but hated them. I also hate straw as it stinks! I use one bale of shavings a week on our dirty pony but do full muck out daily!

Equibright! Used shaving for years, tried wood pellets, then gave the Equibright a go and there's no way I'd go back to anything else now!

I hate straw even though I can get it free, so all of mine and the Part liveries are on Natural Flake shavings. Lovely big bales, and very very clean. They all use 1 bale per week even though they're only out for 2 hours per day atm, the trick is to start off with a big bed and then only remove wet once per week or when it comes to the top.

Anything but shavings!! I use wood pellets in the stable mixed with a bit of aubiose
