Hi guys, sorry i know its been posted before, but.
Im looking for a new bedding for my boys, ive just changed from nedz bedz to flax.
The nedz seemed to be quite dusty this year and wasnt as absorbent as i first thought it was. I changed to flax which is allot more absorbant but the bloody stuff gets everywhere and im not concvinced that its dust free as stated. Its settled all up the wals and everywhere. I am carefull when i open bale and spread it around gently, dust makes me so ill.
I wanted to try easibed, but its 6.45 a bale at my local feed merchants and its abit out of my price range especially with five of them stabled at night at the mo.
I have rubber matting, so any advise please

Abbot & Co do a bedding called Bedrap, formerly Rapsodie (I think) which is sold through outlets in North Oxon, so you should be able to get it. It is more like tiny wood chips, doesn't fly around like shavings or flax and is very absorbent.
They are in yellow pages under hay suppliers and should be able to let you know who their outlets are (I get mine from Witney Farm Supplies)

How luck are you!
Normal cheap rubbish shavings are about £5.50 down here and I use Phosplan (sp?!) which are about £7.20 (inc VAT)
