I know this has been covered lots before, and I have searched the forum and there are so many options. Currently on wood pellets they suit one of mine and the bed is great, the other I just don't seem to get on with them with. Don't know why it just looks disgusting. Have been looking into laysoft and comfy bed. Does anyone use these or recommended anything else. The mare is dirty and does box walk. She is out as much as possible. I can't use straw due to storage issues. So need something that can be easily stored outside. Would really appreciate any comments and suggestions

I have just tried a pallet of Tropibed (coconut peat) and I am super-impressed. I like pellets for my others but I have one that is an absolute swamp pig. I find that it stays put really well, is very absorbent, doesn't smell and I throw a very small amount out as it is very fine & as with the pellets I literally just take out the poo & the clumped wet bit every day.

I've changed from wood pellets to Megazorb this year, love it and definitely going back to pellets - they didn't suit my mare at all either

I think a pallet of 35 bales works out at £6/bale with a £35 delivery charge
