Are they poisonous to horses?

Had a Google and forum search, can’t seem to find out!

No idea, but the French find truffles amongst the roots of their beech trees! Are the horses showing interest in them? A quick Google says that yes, they probably are poisonous - if you Google beech mast instead of beech seeds quite a few results come up.
