I would very much like to take my own 2y/o colt to these classes, but he was born outside the UK and has a KWPN passport.

Is he not eligible for the BEF futurity class or will I be able to take him if I get his pasport overstamped by a British Studbook?

Also how do I go about doing this?

Thanks in advance!

Sadly, he is not eligible as the Futurity is for British-bred animals only so even if he has his papers overstamped by a UK studbook, which he will need to have if he is to be presented for grading with any stud book here (be it AES, BWBS, SHBGB or SSH) he will unfortunately still not be eligible.

For details of how to get his passport overstamped/regsiterded with a studbook prior to grading, just pick the studbook(s) you want to present him to and give them a call. They will then explain the process and costs involved to you and send you all the forms etc that you need to fill in.

Ciss, hows about a filly born in Germany but under us as the breeders in the UK?

That should eb OK if the mare was visiting Germany to foal down/be covered OR the breeders address is a UK one and she is now based in the UK :-)
