Before and after, Dorrie

My friend (DH1) took her mare Dorrie to her first show a couple of weeks ago. After we plaited up we took some photos and when we downloaded them onto the computer we were shocked when we compared them to what she looked like when Claire first got her two years ago. Thought we would share as we are so proud of her especially as she won all 3 classes (in hand because we are chicken) but next time hopefully some ridden.

I had a good teacher and if its any consolation I thought my thumbs were going to drop off afterwards!

Yes you are right it's her summer coat

Before I got her she had been living out in the welsh hills
Poor mare had the worst mud fever I have ever seen, right up to her hocks, and awful rain scald on her neck
Lots of TLC seems to have worked a treat
