I'm 13, and never showed before. My current pony is just for hacking, and that is what I've mainly done for the past 9 years of riding. I would be riding a four year old, he's around 14.2/14.3 and I will be showing on him if any. Does anyone know any shows local in notts? What would I wear? Any would he need to be passported? Please help x

Trentvalley Equestrian Centre do nervous and novice SJ days on the second saturday of every month. They do a CR, then 35cm up to 65cm in 10cm increments. They're brilliantly laid back and will bend over backwards to help out a rider/horse in trouble.

Yes you'll need a passport - it's illegal to transport a horse/pony without a passport, however you won't be asked to produce it at the competition to enter. And wear casual clothes - it's not a formal competition, so wear what you like. (Obviously within reason!)

Trent Valley is definitely a good place to look. Arena UK isn't too far away either, being in Lincs (near Grantham). They hold a lot of competitions there, including indoor XC (as well as outdoor!), and they have their own riding club.
