Last night ordered our first batch of Nutriment food, I've got this to start Ruby off on and then will gradually replace it with meat/ bones etc once she's used to it. Very excited! She is a greedy dog but is she likely to stick her nose up at it at first??

My 2 took to raw food straight away, one was a fussy eater and the other eats everything. Both look really shiny and health and poo is much easier to clean

Me too! I've managed to bag a freezer that a friend was throwing out so I will be making our first order over the weekend. We've picked up a few bits from butchers and they both loved it so I'm not worried about them turning their noses up at it. I was thinking of starting with chicken and beef first. They already get bones - one of them is chewing on a hoof as I type!
I'm a veggie so I'm a little horrified at handling raw meat, but having it in frozen packs will make it easier to cope with I think! It does turn my stomach a bit to see them gnawing on a rib cage but I know it's good for them!

Mine wouldn't eat raw chicken to begin with- despite eating everything in sight!! So had to start him on bunny, now he eats whatever bit of dead critter I chuck at him!

Now he wont eat things like certain chews - the plasitcy type ones, cheap gravy bones etc - fussy sod looks at me like "dis does not has a highs enoughs meat content for me mums"

Lucky you! I've joined freecycle and I'm looking out for a freezer to keep in my garage to store all the meat in. That's good that yours liked it, Ruby's comes today so will give her a bit tonight with her dry food to get her used to it :)

Hehe clearly knows what's good for him! I'm a little worried because I was cooking some chicken last week and gave her a little bit of raw chicken and a few hours later she threw up the same little bit of chicken so I'm hoping she's okay on it!

Freezer is the best thing I bought for ages! It's a bit massive!

Thats nothing- wait till xmas day when you give said dog a raw turkey drumstick- in his excitement he bites off massive chunks- chunks that are too big- walks over to the then MIL - yacks it back up and proceeds to rechew it properly........... such delightful creatures!! :)
